Physical therapists diagnose, treat, and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities. They also prevent the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that result from diseases, disorders, conditions or injuries.

Your physical therapist at Comprehsnvei Health Clinics in Cambridge will establish a clinical/ impairment diagnoses, prognosis, and plan of care. They will work with you to develop personalized functional goals and develop a comprehensive home program including but not limited to exercises, self treatment and educational resources

Your physical therapist will also communicate with your referring practitioner and other members of your care team, sending initial evaluation notes, follow up notes and a discharge summary at the end of your care period.

Minnesota is a direct access state for physical therapy but often a referral is required from a medical practitioner for insurance coverage. You can check coverage and referral requirement with your insurance provider.
